With thousands of users accessing academic, research, and administrative systems, the university faced a critical challenge: ensuring every population received the right access at the right time, while promptly removing access when affiliations changed. The complexity was compounded by overlapping roles, seasonal lifecycle events tied to academic calendars, and the need to maintain strong authentication controls without disrupting the user experience.

Working closely with the university’s identity and security teams, and building on their existing Identity Management and Access Management platforms, we delivered a tailored solution aligned to higher-education operational realities.

By enhancing authentication integrations and aligning provisioning logic to authoritative academic and HR data sources, we enabled access to adjust automatically as individuals entered, changed, or exited the institution.
